Our journey to Cape Point takes us along the scenic Atlantic seaboard coastal road. We pass the pristine beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay with their soft white sand and assure blue water. The formidable 12 Apostles Peaks rise above the road on one side, while shear cliffs and incredible rock formations drop into the icy Atlantic Ocean on the other side. There is no doubt the coast of the Cape peninsula offers magnificent scenery with its great biodiversity..We arrive at the quaint fishing village of Hout Bay with its imposing Sentinel. Visit Seal Island on a boat trip with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and the coastline (own account) or shop for souvenirs at the craft market at the harbor. Please Note the route to and from Cape Point will depend on where you are residing.Collection of guests 08:00 - 09:00 drop off 17:30 - 18:30.
Our tour continues over Chapman’s Peak which offers amazing photo opportunities, and onto the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. This area is home to magnificent ‘fynbos’,many different species of buck and birds, the Cape Mountain Zebra, and mischievous baboons. These creatures entertain guests can enjoy lunch(own account) at the restaurant which has splendid views of False Bay. Take the funicular (own account) to the lighthouse to see the meeting of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans at the Cape Point.Take a walk down to the Cape Of Good Hope which is the most South Western Point of Africa, where we will meet you and take a photograph of you at the boards.Then take you to see Buffels Bay and, Olifantsbosch within the Nature Reserve both have beautiful scenery and beaches.Guests for your own safety and by law DO NOT FEED BABOONS! We depart Cape Point and visit Boulders Beach to see the Jackass penguin and take a walk along Willis Walkway to see the beautiful scenery and Boulders Beach,a spectacular place for taking beautiful scenic pictures.We visit Simonstown and then take in a unique and spectacular mountain top viewing of Simonstown and False Bay then also a mountain top viewing of Fish Hoek and False Bay looking all the way to Stellenbosch, Gordons Bay,as the setting sun is over the tall peaks of Table Mountain the last rays sparkle on the trees and flowers, and offer a fitting end to a day filled with all the Cape has to offer.Return to Hotel/acommodation.
